KATHRYN HOWELL is a Certified Paralegal® with the law firm Alexander DeGance Barnett, P.A. in Jacksonville, Florida, where she focuses on labor and employment litigation, and trial practice. She has jury and non-jury trial experience in federal and state courts in northeast Florida and also has participated in arbitrations. Ms. Howell earned her B.S. degree from Indiana University E. W. Kelley School of Business and her A.S. degree from Vincennes University. Throughout her 15+ year career, she has implemented technology in her practice and even served as systems administrator while a working as a paralegal for an estate planning firm in Indianapolis. Ms. Howell is a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants, is a current member of the Board of Directors of the Northeast Florida Paralegal Association, and also serves as its Technology Committee chairperson.
