VALERIE D. ARNOLD is shareholder with Arnold, Rodman & Pletcher PLLC. Ms. Arnold practices in all areas of family law, including complex divorce, interstate and international divorce and child custody, Hague Convention, non-Hague parental child abduction, parental child abduction prevention, third-party custody and visitation, and appellate law. She is a fellow of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (IAML) and serves on the IAML's Committee on Hague Conventions. Ms. Arnold has published numerous articles on interstate and international family law, including co-authoring the "Interstate and International Jurisdiction and Custody Issues" chapter for the Minnesota State Bar Association's Minnesota Custody and Child Support Deskbook. She has lectured locally, nationally and internationally on interstate and international family law issues. Ms. Arnold is a member of the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC). She is a volunteer for the Chrysalis LAW Program and the Ramsey County Pro Se Clinic. Ms. Arnold earned her B.A. degree from the University of Minnesota, her French master's degree from Université de Savoie, her M.A. degree from the University of Minnesota and her J.D. degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. LISA A. PLETCHER is shareholder with Arnold, Rodman & Pletcher PLLC. Ms. Pletcher has been licensed to practice law in Minnesota since 2005, and has focused exclusively on family law since 2006. Her family law practice focuses primarily on divorce, child custody, child support, parenting time, adoption, Orders for Protection, international family law and wills and trusts. Ms. Pletcher earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and her J.D. degree from William Mitchell College of Law. She is a member of the Warren E. Burger Inn of Court, the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Ramsey County Bar Association and Minnesota Women Lawyers. Ms. Pletcher is a qualified neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice. She also volunteers at Tubman and the Ramsey County District Court Pro Se Clinic. SCOTT M. RODMAN is a shareholder with Arnold, Rodman & Pletcher PLLC. Mr. Rodman's practice focuses exclusively on family law, including but not limited to divorce, custody, child support, spousal maintenance, interstate and international divorce and child custody, Hague Convention and non-Hague parental child abduction, parental child abduction prevention, third-party custody and visitation, antenuptial (pre-nuptial) agreements, adoption and appeals. He is a Rule 114 Qualified Neutral for Facilitative Mediation by the Minnesota Supreme Court. In addition, Mr. Rodman has received extensive training in both Financial Early Neutral Evaluation (FENE) and Social Early Neutral Evaluation (SENE). He was appointed by Ramsey County judicial officers to serve as one of four attorneys on the Ramsey County Early Case Management/Early Neutral Evaluation Steering Committee. Mr. Rodman was further appointed to serve on the SENE Best Practices Subcommittee and was selected as a SENE provider on the Ramsey County SENE roster of approved providers. He also is an adjunct professor at Metropolitan State University, where he teaches business law to undergraduate students. Mr. Rodman earned a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School. Prior to joining Arnold, Rodman & Pletcher PLLC, he practiced family law with Tuft & Arnold PLLC. Mr. Rodman is admitted to practice law in both New York and Minnesota, he is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Minnesota State Bar Association.
