If you have just starting handling bankruptcy cases, or only do so on a periodic basis, it is critical that you stay familiar with Chapter 13 requirements. Discover how to monitor deadlines and maintain a good relationship with the Trustee, remedies available when the debtor does not complete the plan successfully and the criteria the court uses in deciding when to strip a junior mortgage.

LESLIE R. WILLIAMS is a paralegal with At The Beach Paralegals Services, where her main areas of practice are Chapter 7 and 13 Bankruptcy. Ms. Williams conducts legal and factual research. She prepares pleadings, memoranda and briefs, and witness lists and exhibits. Ms. Williams reviews pay advices and other documentation necessary to prepare petitions. She is the author of Insider's Secrets...How to Get That Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant." Ms. Williams is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and National Association of Virtual Bankruptcy Assistants. She earned her A.A. degree from Tulsa Community College.
