THEODORE DORENKAMP III is a senior counsel with Bowman and Brooke LLP. Mr. Dorenkamp is a litigator who concentrates his practice on defending manufacturers and businesses in the areas of complex products liability, commercial litigation, and intellectual property law. He represents some of the world's largest automobile manufacturers, having successfully defended them in cases that have been tried to jury verdict, including Robeck v. Ford Motor Co. (2007) (MN), Moncrieff v. Toyota Motor Corporation (2008) (FL), and Gessling v. Ford Motor Co. (2009) (MO). Mr. Dorenkamp is a cum laude graduate from the University of Minnesota Law School and a winner of the Jenkins & Gilchrist Writing Competition. He also was a member of the Minnesota Intellectual Property Law Review and has been recognized by Minnesota Law & Politics Magazine as a Rising Star in 2004, 2008, and 2009. Mr. Dorenkamp earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, State Bar of Wisconsin, Defense Research Institute, and Aerospace Law Committee (vice chair). Mr. Dorenkamp is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Western District of Wisconsin, and U.S. District Court District of Minnesota. THADD J. LLAURADO is a partner with the Milwaukee law firm of Murphy & Prachthauser, and has practiced law with the firm for 25 years. Mr. Llaurado has tried and settled numerous serious personal injury cases, including cases caused by defective products, automobile accidents, trucking accidents, construction accidents, and other forms of negligent conduct, including complex litigation involving automobile crashworthiness and construction site safety. He has handled cases throughout Wisconsin's courts and also has handled cases in Arkansas, California, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Texas and Utah. Mr. Llaurado is an active member of the American Association for Justice, the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Association for Justice, the Consumer Attorneys of California, and the Milwaukee Bar Association. He earned his bachelor's degree from Marquette University, graduating magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha Sigma Nu, Eta Sigma Phi. Mr. Llaurado graduated from Marquette University Law School and was a Thomas More Scholar. He was on the Marquette Law Review as an articles editor. Mr. Llaurado has presented numerous seminars and is the author of "Reducing Rollover Deaths and Injuries," Trial Magazine, American Association for Justice, February 2009. PAULA WESEMAN THEISEN is a partner in the law firm of Meagher & Geer, P.L.L.P., where she is a member of the firm's Insurance Coverage practice group and is the head of its Electronic Litigation group. Ms. Theisen has more than 25 years in complex litigation. Prior to joining the firm, she was general counsel of a financial services company and an attorney with an AmLaw 100 firm. Her areas of practice include insurance and electronic litigation. Ms. Theisen recently was admitted to the United States Supreme Court, where she filed a brief in opposition to a petition for certiorari in Mumid v. Abraham Lincoln High School, 518 F.3d 789 (8th Cir. 2010), cert. denied 131 S. Ct. 1478 (2011). She earned her B.A. degree from Carleton College, and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from Hamline University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in the state of Minnesota as well as before the U.S. Supreme Court; the Supreme Court of Minnesota; the U.S. Court of Appeals, 7th and 8th circuits; and the U.S. District Court (District of Minnesota, District of North Dakota, and Western District of Wisconsin). Ms. Theisen is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, Minnesota Women Lawyers, and DRI (member of Insurance Coverage and Electronic Discovery committees).
