J. DANIEL AZULAY is now in private practice. He was a founding member of AzulaySeiden Law Group and its predecessor law firms in Chicago and beyond, having started as a sole practitioner. Mr. Azulay concentrates his practice on family and adoption law and its interrelationship with immigration and naturalization matters. Mr. Azulay has successfully represented clients in issues related to domestic relations, including petitions for dissolution of marriage and invalidity of marriage, adoption, alimony, property distributions, child support, child custody, visitation, pre- and ante-nuptial agreements and paternity cases. He has practiced law in Illinois for more than 35 years and has extensive experience in bringing cases to conclusion through settlement, mediation and/or trial. He also regularly handles real estate, business, personal injury, litigation, and immigration and naturalization related matters. He is an Adjunct Professor of Immigration Law at the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Mr. Azulay has spoken extensively and written many articles on issues of law, and has authored sections of volumes for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education (IICLE). Mr. Azulay earned his B.A. degree from Roosevelt University; and his J.D. degree, with honors, from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and Florida, as well as before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit; the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and the U.S. Tax Court. Mr. Azulay has been a member of the American and Chicago Bar Associations, the International Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists, the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys, the Commission on Law and Public Affairs and the Attorneys' Title Guaranty Fund, Inc.

STEPHEN D. BERMAN is a member of Immigration Attorneys, LLP, located in Milwaukee. He focuses his practice in the areas of family-based immigration, employment-based immigration, removal defense, criminal aliens, and federal litigation and appeals. Mr. Berman has done ground-breaking asylum cases extending asylum benefits in gender-based claims, and he has represented corporations filing for specialized and skilled workers. Mr. Berman's immigration work is equally divided between immigration litigation; and family and employment-based petitions, battered spouse petitions, as well as applications for entrepreneurs, inter-company transfers, investors and others. He represents individuals seeking assistance with immigration and defense against deportation. His clients come from all parts of Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Canada. His corporate clients include schools, financial services companies, hospitals, nursing homes, religious institutions, as well as engineering and construction firms. Mr. Berman attended Hebrew University; received his B.A. degree from Colgate University; attended the London Law Consortium; and received his J.D. degree from Indiana University School of Law - Bloomington. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and Wisconsin, as well as before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh and Ninth circuits, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Mr. Berman is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (liaison with the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles; and chair of the Social Security Administration and Department of Motor Vehicles committees, both in Chicago), a board member of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, and a member of the U.S. Trial Bar for the Northern District of Illinois.

ANITA M. SORENSEN is special counsel with the national law firm of Foley & Lardner LLP and is based at Foley's Madison, Wisconsin, office. She focuses on employment-based, as well as complex family-based, immigration matters. Ms. Sorensen is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She has served on AILA's Board of Governors and as a member of AILA's National Liaison committees to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Vermont Service Center and to the Social Security Administration. Ms. Sorensen also served for more than seven years on the Executive Committee of the Wisconsin AILA Chapter, including two years as the chair; and she served four years as the Chapter's ambassador to the American Immigration Council. She currently serves on AILA's National Liaison Committee to U.S. Customs and Border Protection and on the Wisconsin Chapter's Pro Bono Committee. Ms. Sorensen has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® in the area of immigration law. She is admitted to practice before several state and federal courts as well as the U.S. Supreme Court. Ms. Sorensen is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law, with high honors.
